Elephant Rescue Enclosure

In reference to the previous blog about the Enclosure, the images below are of what the enclosure will look like when sufficient funds have been raised. I believe from what I've been told, the current enclosure isn't large enough for the expansion of new elephants that they have rescued, so a new enclosure is in order. There are 3 entrances, with two different sections of the enclosure. The right hand side of the enclosure is the Elephant's bathing area, with the lake close to the Viewing Platform that visitors can view the elephant's from. The left hand side of the enclosure is the Interaction Area, where the visitors can interact with the Elephants from a lower position of the platform. Images below are of the enclosure, using Unreal Engine 4 to develop and build this Level.

Long Overdue

Unfortunately due to the end of Second Year and a busy Summer, of which will be explained shortly, I have been unable to find some time to blog. Due to working part-time I have been able to come across people from all different kinds of backgrounds and places, which lead me to meet somebody who runs an elephant enclosure in Thailand for rescued elephants whom proposed if I visually create a new enclosure that would soon be constructed after sufficient funds have been raised. Throughout the summer I have been constructing each individual asset and texturing them, and then placing into the game engine to screen capture the scene after rendering. Images of the Enclosure will follow in the next blog.

On another note, as the new academic year begins, my third and final year in University begins, with thoughts on my final product and excitement for the year to come. Keep posted for news of up and coming assignments and final images of the enclosure.
