Update of Individual Project:
Over the past week or so, i've been continually adding and developing the Literature Review which consists of 1/3 of the whole dissertation documentation. Recently i've invested some time in some background Market Research, to determine if there is a gap in the market for using a game engine for visualisation of heritage/historical landscapes, whilst also using it as an educational material with other testing of whether or not navigational systems are effective within video games. Currently I have 30 different results, the survey can be seen & completed via: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/W9Z8XWF.
Depending on the time that you view the Survey, it may have been taken down.
Modelling & Game Design Assignment:
On Monday 14th, we were assigned our first assignment for this unit, in which we have to design and sculpt a character, building or vehicle using zBrush (50%+). For this assignment I have chosen to continue my Goblin sculpt, and create a full body mesh. The Goblin aim's to have two weapons, one short sword and one axe, whilst wearing chain-mail trousers using the micro mesh/nano mesh technique in zBrush. Updates on this will be coming shortly.
