So as the academic year begins, my third and final year at Bournemouth University begins, with a dissertation and 3 different units I feel this year will be jam-packed with work. Late last week I sent off my final year dissertation project proposal, which I will go into further detail soon once I've received feedback. These 3 Units we have this year are: Games Engineering, Innovation and Business Development and Modelling and Game Design. The one I'm most looking forward to is the Modelling and Game Design unit, in which we will delve deeper into zBrush and it's forever expanding techniques, alongside the use of Animation, Unreal Engine 4 and Maya. Games Engineering will involve using Unity and C# Programming, which I'm really interested in, as I want to expand my knowledge of C# and have an overall better understanding of programming. Innovation and Business Development begins to make us students ready for the professional working world, with developments on our e-Portfolio's (charlesedwardhunt.co.uk) and our CV's alongside Business knowledge and career plans.
Admittedly, I'm looking forward to this year, however it's a daunting year as my University Chapter potentially comes to a close, and the door to the working world opens.
